Justin Bieber doesn't just have a new album Purpose on his plate, he is also getting ready to go on tour. On Wednesday (Nov. 11), the "What Do You Mean?" singer revealed that he's getting ready to go on his first international tour in three years. Fittingly, the live trek is called the Purpose Tour.

The announcement was revealed during Bieber's weeklong stint on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show.

"I'm actually going on tour. That's my big news," Bieber said. But, of course the announcement didn't come without a few hiccups... Bieber couldn't remember when the start of his Purpose Tour was.

"The tour starts... the tour, gosh... this was the only thing I had to remember," Bieber said before asking Ellen and someone offstage whether or not they knew when the tour was. Though nobody seemed to know when the shows would begin, a graphic at the bottom of the screen revealed that the string of live dates will kick off on March 9, 2016.

Further exact tour dates have yet to be announced, but the pre-sale will begin this week on EllenTV.com, with further tickets going on sale sometime next week.

Bieber's Purpose Tour will be his first live trek in over three years. The tour will be in support of his new album Purpose, which is due to be released on Friday, Nov. 13. The album has thus far been led by singles "What Do You Mean?," "I'll Show You" and "Sorry," as well as a string of promotional tracks.
