Back in September, Empire kicked off its star-studded season 2 and the first half of FOX’s hit series features plenty of possible chart-topping music. Last season, the series was accompanied by a soundtrack that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Just like its precursor, Empire: Original Soundtrack, Season 2, Volume 1 features a slew of musical acts including some who have made guest appearances on the show.
To celebrate we are giving away three copies of the Empire season 2 soundtrack featuring Alicia Keys, Pitbull and Jussie Smollet, who stars as Jamal Lyon, among others.
The soundtrack also features contributions from other cast members like Yazz (Hakeem Lyon), Terrence Howard (Lucious Lyon) and Bre-Z (Freda Gatz). V. Bozeman, Serayah, and Petey Pablo also make appearances with Timbaland, Ne-Yo, J.R. Rotem and Swizz Beatz handling production.
The follow-up to season 1’s highly successful soundtrack includes songs like “No Doubt About It,” the emotional ballad “Born to Love U” and the club anthem “Bout 2 Blow” as well as the “Powerful” duet by Smollett and Keys, which will be featured in an upcoming episode. The digital deluxe version contains eight additional songs.
