It sounds as though Lady Gaga might add a little bit of "Uptown Funk" to her new album. In anticipation of her ARTPOP follow-up (which fans have dubbed LG5), it seems as though the "Applause" singer is working in the studio with none other than Mark Ronson.

Lily Allen was actually the one to let it slip that Gaga and Ronson are working together on new music. The "Hard out Here" singer said that she had a recording session cancelled because there was someone bigger in town that Ronson wanted to work with.

"I was meant to be in the studio with Mark Ronson in the morning, but he cancelled on me because Gaga's there," Allen spilled. But, that doesn't mean the Sheezus singer is giving up.

"I'm just going to turn up anyway and be like, hey, hi Gaga! We could do a duet, what are you singing?" Allen joked.

Concrete details surrounding Gaga's fifth studio album remain tightly under wraps, but it has been confirmed that she has also entered into the studio with her "Just Dance" collaborator RedOne, as Idolator points out.

Further details surrounding the record, including a relative release date time frame, a title and other collabortators have yet to be announced.

Gaga's last album ARTPOP was released in 2013. The record wasn't her biggest success to date, though it did feature singles such as "Applause" and "Venus." For her actual last effort, Gaga went jazzy with the release of her Tony Bennett duets album Cheek to Cheek.
