Ahead of his new album, Still Krazy, YG decided to release his latest cut “I Wanna Benz” featuring 50 Cent and Nipsey Hussle.

As noted by The Fader, the London On Da Track-produced single, which starts off with a snippet from the ’90s classic film Menace II Society, premiered Saturday (Dec. 12) on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio on Beats1.

“I Wanna Benz” serves as YG’s second single from Still Krazy, following the July release “Twist My Fingaz” produced by Terrace Martin. The follow-up to his 2014 debut My Krazy Life, will also feature production from frequent collaborator, DJ Mustard.

As previously reported, things did, in fact, get pretty crazy for YG over the summer. Back in June, the Los Angeles-based rapper was shot multiple times at a recording studio. He was reportedly working on his album at the time of the incident and was adamant about getting back to recording upon his release from the hospital.

"I left the hospital that night, and the next day I went back to the studio," he said. "Nobody wanted me to go. My mama tells me, 'What are you talking about "going to the studio?"' But you know, I got sh*t to do — this sh*t don't stop for nobody. I came straight to the studio on my little crutches."

Taking that into consideration, his next effort will surely include more captivating and intriguing storylines like his first studio effort.

“Thematically, it’s an eclectic mix of good-time party tracks and moodier ones about surviving in the streets, police brutality, and the stupidity of crossing YG,” he told Billboard.
