No weekend is complete without blasting a little Future through your speakers, and this weekend is no different. The Atlanta rapper dropped a surprise mixtape, Purple Reign, early this morning and the #futurehive could not be happier! The mixtape  was executively produced by DJ Esco and Metro Boomin.'. And of course, the three amigos can do no wrong.

The mixtape was released through LiveMixtapes.com and Future teased fans on Twitter and Instagram the night before the release. Drake even showed his support for the mixtape on Instagram.

The mixtape was originally set to drop at 11:56 p.m. Saturday but was pushed back to this morning so they could put the finishing touches on it, according to LiveMixtapes tweet. Soon after that tweet went out, DJ Esco tweeted a link to the trailer for Purple Reign to whet fans' appetites.

Following the release of his collaboration with Mike WiLL Made-It, "Al Sharpton," Future's Purple Reign falls right in line with the heat he's been dropping lately. The 13-track project was more than worth the wait and better than what fans were expecting. Take a listen to it.

In early December, Future announced the "Purple Reign" tour with Ty Dolla $ign starting Feb. 17 in Madison, Wisconsin, and ending March 19 in San Jose, California. The 22-date tour sold out immediately. Concertgoers will get to hear Future perform tracks from Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time to Be Alive and now, Purple Reign.

Future is also due to drop sequels to Beast Mode and Monster as well as his tape with Mike WiLL, Ape Shit, this year.
