Looks like things are that much closer to getting resolved in the Cash Money Records world. Birdman and Lil Wayne seemed to make up for good. The pair appeared together on New Year's Eve to support Drake at club E11even in Miami for his performance, and seem to be going strong with rebuilding their relationship after Birdman made a public declaration at a packed club on Sunday (Jan. 17) regarding his "son."

2015 proved to put a huge strain on the father son relationship between Birdman and his protege Lil Wayne who filed a $55 million lawsuit against Cash Money for royalties due.

Apparently, the two have let bygones be bygones. Birdman spilled his love for Wayne to a crowd in a Miami nightclub, saying, "I just want to tell my muthaf*ckin' son that I love him. And all you n*ggas with that h*e sh*t, I ain't forget nan one of you b*tch a** n*ggas. And ya'll on my pull up list! Keep my name out ya mouth b*tch!"

HipHopDX suggests that the father and son duo have made alot of head way in repairing their relationship as they hit the stage for a performance together in front of a packed house at Club LIV. They are currently working through their differences despite rumors circulating that Birdman had once plotted to have Wayne killed. Fans are hopeful that with the goodwill being displayed by both Birdman and Wayne, Tha Carter V could be released soon.

Though Birdman and Lil Wayne seemed to be in a better place based of his passionate display, many believed that the Cash Money CEO could have been calling out Trick Daddy in the latter part of the speech when he calls out "enemies." Trick Daddy notably made some disparing remarks about the CEO on NYC's Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club radio show in late 2015. He may also be referring to Rick Ross, who dissed the Cash Money camp on "Color Money" track.
