Hip-hop and EDM collaborations seem like the new popular way to get the best of both worlds. Soulja Boy is gearing up to release his first electronic track.
"Gold Like This" by Gold Top will be released on June 9 under Dirty Duck Audio.
A teaser for the track was released last month.
Aside from crossing over into the EDM world, Soulja has been busy providing production to just about everyone.
In May, Music Times reported that Soulja Boy had revealed he has been working on Diddy's forthcoming album as well as Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V.
"I'm working on Diddy's project right now," Soulja said. "He's doing his last album right now, it's called Money Making Mitch. That's been taking up a lot of my focus. So is the Carter V. When I was in Miami I did like two beats for CV, and I just been tryna go back in on them beats and make them the best for Tune."
He also revealed that he has been working with Justin Bieber.
"We was working on his new album and doing some stuff for the Carter V," he said of Bieber. "We was down in Miami for a couple nights. Every night we was in the studio doing different stuff."
Not to mention, Soulja Boy produced Nicki Minaj's "Yasss Bish."
"I had the beat and everything, we went to the studio and she killed it," he told The Fader. "The first day, soon as she heard the beat she killed it. And she put it out like the next day."
