Ne-Yo and his new wife, Crystal Renay, welcomed their first child together with the birth of their son, Prince Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr, only a few weeks ago. Already, Renay has decided it's time for her to get dolled up and hit the town for a little bit of fun with friends. Fans of the singer are appalled with the mom's actions, calling her a "thot" for leaving her baby so soon. Neyo, however, is not standing for the disrespect and has fired back at everyone who has something negative to say about his wife and her parental skills.

Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, married Crystal Renay in February and less than a month later, on March 16, the couple welcomed Renay's first and the "Miss Independent" singer's third child to the world. Not too long after the birth, Renay posted photos on her Instagram account of her "ladies night" adventure with friend, an costar on the BET reality show About The Business, Eva Marcille and others.

The photo was not well received, according to Voice-Online, and sparked some harsh criticism of the new mother's choices.

Thanks for dragging me out the house last night ladies! Mommies need fun too! #BestBridesmaidsEver @evamarcille x @ebonyj1

Although "mommies need fun too," the Instagram photo quickly garnered comments like, "You doing too much, too soon, take it easy boo,"  "I agree that mommies need fun but i would never leave my babies that soon to birth," and "Your baby is weeks old, you should be home with him."

The comments touched on everything from whether or not Renay is breastfeeding while consuming alcohol, her C-Section stiches, referring to her as a "thot," and her skills as a mother in comparison to that of Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo's ex and mother of his first two children.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, Ne-Yo felt the need to fire back and defend his wife against "the haters," as reported by EUR.

In a lengthy comment of his own, Ne-Yo addressed all of the positive fans for the nicer comments. He then provided a special message to all of the haters, writing, "You only know a portion of who I am, [and] who she is and you're making judgements on that small portion, judgements none of you are qualified to make." The proud husband and father concluded his message with the phrase "HATERS MUST HATE."

Crystal also took the time to respond to her Instagram critics, writing, "Thank goodness for my husband and my amazing support system I have. No validity needed from anyone else! My child is good while i go to dinner! #MindYours" [sic].
