Justin Bieber has taken great pains to restore his image, but now it appears that he is being sued for $75,000 over a smashed cell phone. The suit alleges that Bieber ruined a man’s cell phone as he videotaped the pop star drinking from a beer bong after a concert this past month.

Complainant Robert Earl Morgan filed the lawsuit this past Tuesday in Harris County close to where Bieber had played his Houston, Texas show. The lawsuit alleges that Bieber snatched the phone from Morgan and broke it into little pieces. Morgan, a sales director for an unidentified company, claims that he lost important photos and information with the broken phone.

Further according to the lawsuit, Bieber was “clearly a novice” at using a beer bong and spilled the drink on himself. As of yet, Bieber’s manager Scott “Scooter” Braun has not commented on either the incident or the lawsuit according to Billboard.

In other Justin Bieber news, the pop star cancelled his meet and greets on the Purpose World Tour, citing anxiety and depression. He released extended posts on his socials that explained while he loves to meet his fans, he also sometimes becomes “drained and unhappy” after meet and greets, citing that living up to who fans expect him to be is exhausting.

Bieber has always been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, and has also said that absorbing people’s “spiritual energy” gets him down and affects his live performances. He claims that by canceling the meet and greets, he has ensured his best performance.
