You probably remember Aaron Carter, not just as the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, but also as a teen pop star in the 1990s, just like Justin Bieber today. With that, Carter has a message for Bieber and also expressed his support for presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Fans have noticed the similarity of the two's genre and Carter's fame during the '90s with that of Bieber's current popularity. They are being compared in many different angles. When asked about this in an interview with Complex magazine, the 28-year-old singer said that the hardships he encountered in life are what set him apart from the "Love Yourself" singer.

"Justin Bieber might talk about that, but bro, let me tell you, man," Carter said, according to ET Online. "When you lose everything, and you're in debt $5 million, and you have nobody wanting to believe in you -- that's a phoenix rising from the ashes."

"Justin Bieber, can I ask you a question? How did I turn out? Do you pay attention? Maybe you should open your eyes. Or wear my glasses, 'cause they're really dope," he added.

Back in November 2015, Bieber's lawyer, Aaron Rosenberg, said that Bieber did not "turn into Aaron Carter" because of his "family, faith, friends, fans and the formula," Billboard reported. Carter responded with a tweet that said, "Can't knock this but watch what YOUR people say/answer @justinbieber all questions are approved I'm not an idiot."

Meanwhile, Carter also revealed that he was bullied after he expressed his support for presidential candidate Donald Trump. He also said that there were "death threats" due to his support, which he posted on Twitter. Because of that, the "I Want Candy" singer pledged not to vote anymore, Breitbart reported.

Carter is currently promoting his upcoming album, LØVË as he returns to the industry after several years. He said that while he was trying to "figure out how to file this bankruptcy," he worked on some tracks that will be featured on the new album after his Another Earthquake LP back in 2002.
