TBS is reportedly scripting a comedy based around Notorious B.I.G. and looking to the rapper’s lyrics for inspiration.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series with be entitled Think B.I.G. and the premise is that of a teen from a tough background working towards a better future for his two young children. Mass Appeal and the Turner-owned cable network are working together with Wayne Barrow of Bystorm Films and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, who is representing Notorious B.I.G. Inc.

The television show is arriving a full 20 years following his death in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. His albums have been wildly successful with fans and have sold 17 million copies just in the United States.

Think B.I.G. draws inspiration from other hip-hop themed television shows, especially Fox Network’s show Empire. TBS additionally announced their project Storyville, which is another comedy with stories being told by various people in the entertainment industry. Storyville is slated to make its debut this fall.

“Storyville Think B.I.G. speak to the types of projects we cultivate with Mass Appeal moving forward,” the executive Vice President of Original Programming at TBS said in a statement. “Mass Appeal is a leader in developing unique stories with diverse voices. There’s no better partner for us to connect with this vibrant, impassioned audience.”

In other Biggie news, ARHT Media is planning on bringing a hologram of the late rapper to the stage for some performances, known as “humanagram” technology. The hologram will reportedly appear both in live performances as well as music videos. Notably, the image will appear in music videos for former wife Faith Evans duets compilation The King & I.

“After seeing all the technologies out there, I realized right away that ARHT Media would be the best partner to bring back Notorious B.I.G.,” Evans said to Billboard. “I look forward to continue working with them and presenting the world with his Humagram in both video and stage format, through the release of my album The King & I.”
