Russell Brand, the comedian/radio host ex-husband of Katy Perry, to whom she was married for only 14 months, finally got married himself to his fiancée Laura Gallacher. The intimate ceremony in Remenham Church near the couple's home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon is an indeed an ideal English wedding. But Russell Brand is nothing without his outrageous ideas, as he brought his 100 plus guests aboard a steam liner going to an Indian-themed reception.

From the life of spotlight, considering him to be the former husband of Katy Perry and some of his known antics, Russell Brand went into a more private and quiet life when he met lifestyle blogger Laura Gallacher in 2015. More so when their first child came 9 months ago, that Brand has been keeping much of his personal life through social media and just until now on his Radio X podcast that he revealed an update of his life. In a report from Heavy, Russell Brand announced that he is already married and in a comic way, domesticated, although details of the wedding were not fully discussed.

In a separate report though, PEOPLE was able to get some shots from the wedding itself and even listed some guests like Noel Gallagher, comedian David Baddie, British talk-show host Jonathan Ross and his "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" co-star Jason Segel. Some photos showed the couple embracing aboard the New Orleans steam ferry as the wedding party went to an Indian-themed reception. Knowing Brand as a practicing Buddhist, he has also incorporated the same celebration when he married Katy Perry in Rajasthan in a complete Hindu ceremony.

Now that Russell Brand is happily married and a doting father to Mabel, Katy Perry seems to get back with actor Orlando Bloom, thus things do get better in the end for the estranged couple. However, in an interview with Perry, she revealed that after getting a text message from ex- Brand that he will be filing a divorce, the two never spoke to each other since then.
