John Mayer's highly anticipated new album 2013 "Paradise Valley" will be getting some assistance from a few of his famous friends. According to Rolling Stone, Mayer's on-again, off-again girlfriend Katy Perry (who he's on again, with) and his former collaborator Frank Ocean are slated to appear on the record.

Ocean makes an appearance on a "Wildfire" reprise. The Frank Ocean "Wildfire" is not to be confused with the second single of the same name. That track is an upbeat, folk-induced and country-inspired song, continuing the down home path Mayer established on his last release, 2011's "Born and Raised." Meanwhile, Rolling Stone reports that Ocean's "Wildfire" is short and poetic.

Mayer and Ocean have previously worked together on "channel ORANGE" track "White." Mayer also helped out Ocean during his "Saturday Night Live" performance last year, playing guitar on "Pyramids."

More interestingly, Mayer has paired up with Perry for "Who You Love." According to Rolling Stone, the collaboration is a "country-tinged mid-tempo track."

Though Mayer has noted in concert and in interviews how much he cares for Perry, this is the duo's first musical adventure together.

However, "Who You Love" won't be the first time Mayer has paired up with one of his famous singer girlfriends for a duet. For his 2009 single "Half Of My Heart," Mayer called in Taylor Swift to help him on the track. Of course, that relationship turned sour, inspiring Swift's biting "Dear John" song.
