There is a new K-pop group in town and it might be following in the footsteps of BTS to global superstardom.

On Monday. March 26, JYP Entertainment finally introduced to the world its newest sensation: Stray Kids. The officially mark their debut, the nine-member group released their first EP titled I am NOT which is now available for download and streaming on iTunes and Apple Music.

Their first extended play album features seven tracks including the lead single "District 9." This week, Stray Kids also released the music video for the hip-hop track.

Stray Kids Has Arrived

In "District 9," Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. prove to the world that they can sing and dance.

The music video follows the nine boys, first in a maze-like garden and then inside a prison where all of them plan their escape. Around the middle of the music video, they crash into what looks like an alternate dimension where they explore an abandoned building.

It is easy to predict that the group will be competing with other well-known k-pop acts like BTS or EXO on the top of the charts. Already, the "District 9" music video has crossed 9 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

According to Soompi, I am NOT's lead single just became the most-watched K-pop group debut music video within 24 hours. By Tuesday, it has gained over 4 million views, unseating Wanna One's "Energetic," which previously held the title.

The publication also reported that the EP also entered the Top 10 of the iTunes Album Chart in 10 countries including Canada, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, and Argentina.

It is not hard to see why, despite their newcomer status, Stray Kids is already gaining a loyal following. JYP Entertainment is a major star-maker in South Korea. The management company also introduced home-grown talents such as Wonder Girls, Miss A, 2 PM, Twice, and GOT7 among many others.

In addition, Billboard mentioned that all nine members appeared on Stray Kids, a show where the boy band had to prove their worth in order to debut as a K-pop group. Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. are not only talented, but they also worked hard to get to where they are right now.

It also does not hurt that all members of Stray Kids are total eye candies.

I am NOT was co-written by Bang Chan, Han, and Changin who write under the pseudonym 3RACHA. Watch the music video for "District 9" below.
