Cardi B makes headlines after the shoutout from Bernie Sanders. The singer and the politician share the same idea about the country's Social Security.

On his Twitter account, the former Democratic presidential agreed with the "Bodak Yellow" singer's opinion about America's Social Security.

"If we are really going to make America great, we need to strengthen Social Security so that seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve," wrote Sanders.

On a follow-up tweet, Sanders shared a video of himself talking about the rapper. He also thanked the "MotorSport" singer for her support on the issue.

Cardi B Praises FDR

"I'm obsessed to know how the system works... Yet all he was worried about was trying to make America great - make America great again for real. He's the real 'Make America Great Again,' because if it wasn't for him, old people wouldn't even get Social Security," said Cardi B.
