J. Cole asks Kevin Hart to star in his music video for "Kevin's Hart." The clip focuses on the funnyman's life, specifically his recent cheating scandal.

The over five-minute clip, which was directed by Scott Lazer and J. Cole, opens with Hart driving his car while J. Cole sings some lines to his song. The entire track focuses on how Hart goes about his day while dealing with the negative press.

In the next scene, Hart goes to a grocery store and checks his list of things to buy. A woman standing in the same aisle looks at him with a judgmental look on her face. Other customers also stare at Hart as he buys some items from the store.

Kevin Hart Cheats On Eniko Parrish

Hart previously admitted to cheating on his wife, Eniko Parrish, while she was 8 months pregnant. At the time, Parrish said that she has forgiven her husband and decided to stay with him.

During an interview with Power 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club, Hart said that he feels guilty for what he did. He also said that he was beyond irresponsible for cheating on Parrish.

"That's Kevin Hart in the dumbest moment. That's not the finest hour of my life. With that being said, you make your bed you lay in it," said Hart.

Scott Lazer Talks Working With Kevin Hart

Meanwhile, Lazer recently shared how Hart became involved in the music video for J. Cole's song. He said that he became interested in directing the funnyman because of the cheating scandal, which was wrong, but not necessarily violent.

"Enormous ridicule. And somebody that I think is pretty much well-liked became all of the sudden a devil to a lot of people. So, that was kind of the thinking for the video. I mean, just having Kevin Hart in a video for a song called 'Kevin's Heart' is gonna be awesome; but like, how can we make that stronger?" said Lazer.

The director also gushed over Hart and called him great. Prior to filming, Lazer spoke with Hart, and he gave him a walkthrough of the storyboard. The two men kept laughing the whole time. Lazer said that the music video for "Kevin's Hart" was meant to be weighty, but because Hart actually starred in it, it cannot go without some comedic elements.

Following its release on Tuesday, the music has already received over 6 million views on YouTube.
