Fans of Selena Gomez are not pleased with Stefano Gabbana, a designer, for calling their idol ugly. The shade was made by the designer on social media.

Gabbana commented on the photo collage posted by The Catwalk Italia on Instagram. The snap shows five photos of Gomez in an all-red ensemble. At the bottom of the comments section, Gabbana said that Gomez is so ugly in Italian.

One Gomez fan slammed Gabbana for his comment and said that the only thing ugly is his personality. Another supporter told Gabbana that he must be blind. One fan also criticized Gabbana's brand and said that his collection is a piece of s***.

"But it is so ugly that someone with your age can be that petty. Calling a 25-year-old girl ugly on social media. You should thank Selena for some attention maybe you just reminding us that your brand is passé. And nah like your opinion matters," wrote another fan.

Another Gomez supporter urged the designer to look at himself in the mirror before criticizing other celebrities.

This is not the first time that Gabbana commented on a celebrity's photo. A few days ago, the same Instagram account uploaded a snap of Kate Moss wearing an attire by Saint Laurent.

"No," wrote Gabbana in the comments section.

Selena Gomez's Friends Come To Her Defense

In related news, Gomez's fans were not the only ones that came to her defense. Several other celebrities, musicians, and friends showed their support for the "Back to You" singer.

Miley Cyrus shared a throwback picture of herself hugging her pal on social media. She said that Gabbana's comment is entirely inaccurate.

13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman, who worked with Gomez on the hit Netflix series, called Gabbana a homophobic and misogynistic body-shamer.

"Issues" singer Julia Michaels, who penned Gomez's track "Bad Liar," defended her on Twitter.

Selena Gomez Stars In 'Back To You' Music Video

As of late, Gabbana has not yet issued an apology to Gomez. The singer-actress has not also responded to the designer's comments. Gomez recently made headlines after she had released the music video for "Back to You."

The track, which was specifically written for 13 Reasons Why season 2, was released on June 5. The song centers on Gomez's love for someone that is not necessarily good for her. Regardless of what other people have been saying, every time her heart heals, she always wants to go back to the same person.
