Democrat Joyce Beatty encourages millennial voters to cast their vote in her favor by doing Drake's "In My Feelings" challenge.

The 68-year-old lawmaker uploaded her version on her Twitter account. On Friday, Beatty and two of her female staff members danced to Drake's song outside the Capitol building.

Their video opens with Beatty driving her car and getting off just in time to dance with her two companions. At the end of the clip, the Ohio representative introduces herself and says that she approves of the message in the clip.

As of late, Beatty's "In My Feelings" challenge has already garnered over 25,000 views. Beatty also used the hashtag Keke Must Vote in reference to Drake's ex-girlfriend, Keshia "Keke" Chante, who was mentioned by the rapper in the song.

Joyce Beatty Releases Statement

In a statement, the Democrat explained her move and said that it was her intention to get more people engaged.

"As a member of Congress, it's imperative we tap into trending topics to help deliver important messages to the next generation, especially when it comes to the importance of voting and using one's voice. This is but the latest example of how I am bridging the gap between politics/government and millennials," explained Beatty.

Drake's "In My Feelings" song is featured in his Scorpion album. Since its release, the track has become a massive hit.

Multiple celebrities have also taken on the challenge. Some of them are Will Smith, Ciara, Shay Mitchell, Ryan Seacrest, Steve Aoki, Sterling K. Brown, and more.

'In My Feelings' References

Other than the celebrities who took on the challenge, "In My Feelings" also made headlines after Billboard had deciphered the various references featured in the track. Other than Chante, Jennifer Lopez was also indirectly mentioned in the lines of the song.

Drake raps about Jenny from the block, which, of course, refers to Lopez. Drake and Lopez dated each other briefly, but later on, Lopez decided to get into a relationship with Alex Rodriguez.

The Canadian rapper also mentioned Lil Wayne, Zazia Beetz, Magnolia Shorty, City Girls, K'yanna Barber, and TrapMoneyBenny in his song.

The other tracks in Drake's Scorpion album include "Survival," "Nonstop," "Elevate," "Emotionless," "God's Plan," "I'm Upset," "8 Out of 10," "Mob Ties," "Can't Take A Joke," "Sandra's Rose," "Talk Up (feat. Jay-Z)," "Is There More," Finnesse," "Ratchet Happy Birthday," "That's How You Feel," "Blue Tint," "Don't Matter To Me," "After Dark," "Final Fantasy," and "March 14."
