Diplo is being sued by a woman he allegedly coerced to perform sexual acts on him.
According to TMZ, the unnamed woman filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Diplo's Sued, Lawsuit Details Revealed
This reportedly happened in 2019 after Diplo's Las Vegas gig.
The woman and her friends partied with the American DJ.
Later on, she claimed that Diplo offered them drugs and alcohol and then later invited her alone into his private room. The bouncers kicked everyone else out, including one of her male friends, who a member of the security team reportedly punched for refusing to leave the woman alone with the musician.
According to the woman, Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Pentz, then allegedly told her she couldn't leave the room until she performed a sex act on him.
TMZ reported that the woman gave in to the alleged demands. However, her nightmare didn't end there.
The woman further claimed that the 42-year-old artist recorded the coerced sexual encounter without her consent.
However, the woman specified in the lawsuit that she was scared through much of the exchange and knew that she was in no condition to grant consent.
Diplo Denies The Allegations
Attorney Bryan Freedman, the artist's lawyer, told TMZ that the woman is connected to a former flame of Diplo, who accused him of defamation, sexual battery, and assault in a previous lawsuit.
He told TMZ, "This complaint is completely outrageous, wildly untrue and yet also entirely predictable, given that it simply repeats the exact same claim already made by the plaintiff's friend Shelly Auguste [woman in the previous lawsuit], an individual who has been harassing Mr. Pentz and his family for more than a year and already has repeatedly violated the restraining order issued against her."
They also reportedly have evidence that there is no truth to the woman's claims and they are prepared to show them in court "to put an end to this shakedown by the Ms. Auguste and her accomplices for once and for all."

Diplo Sues Ex-Fling in April
Diplo filed documents in April claiming that his ex-fling, Shelly Auguste, is a "relentless and unstable fan" who manipulated herself into his life several years ago.
She allegedly won't take no for an answer after rebuffing her.
The pair reportedly had a consensual relationship in 2019 before things went south in 2020.
Shelly allegedly bombarded him with 44 messages, including videos and voice recordings involving Diplo.
The DJ got a restraining order in Dec. 2020; however, it was eventually tossed.
Now, he's suing Shelly for stalking, trespassing, and revenge porn.
Meanwhile, Shelly also sued him for sexual battery.
