BTS J-Hope revealed the secret behind their success in the past months.

From being a "NUGU" group in the K-pop industry, BTS immediately rose to stardom and reached international success. But for J-Hope, what they already achieved came with a huge duty.

The BTS' lead rapper and main dancer talked to Weverse Magazine where he shared what he feels about their growing popularity, most especially the push their May single "Butter" brought.

According to J-Hope, how their music perform on charts affects him both as an artist and an individual. He added that their success adds more pressure that he needs to continuously think of the ways to improve his skills as a performer.

"Whenever I try to embrace an unintended success, in my mind I'm always like ... It's like half happiness, half a feeling that makes me think seriously about what I accomplished," he said.

He particularly mentioned the group's fans, ARMYs, who help them reach achievements. In the same interview, he thanked them for keeping them at the top spot.

How BTS J-Hope Improves Himself

Before they completely dominated Hollywood, BTS tried to show a bit of them through their 2020 song "Dynamite." In an instant, they won people's hearts and added massive number of Hollywood stars into their fandom.

Per the rapper, whose real name is Jung Hoseok, he always revisits his previous performances in order to improve himself.

Since day one, he has been constantly feeling responsible for making the group's dance performances stand out. With the overwhelming support they receive from fans, he reportedly wants to make sure BTS can give it all back to them.

Apart from J-Hope, BTS' youngest member Jeon Jungkook also talked with the magazine and shared his own perspective of the group's success.

In the past months, he started to see the group's success as a "burden" to him. He explained that he feels "weighed down" by the attention BTS scored as it makes him work harder.

Aside from working with the group, Jungkook will also try his fortune as a soloist. He is scheduled to release his solo mixtape which led him to open up his mind even more.

"I keep thinking I want to make up my own original, complex story and write the songs from there," he went on.
