Some artists takes at least a decade in the industry before announcing their Sin City Residency.

Not more than a year since their formation, R&B Superduo Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, now known as Sonic Silk, is taking over Las Vegas in February 2022.

Mars shared the news on Twitter Wednesday morning that their Las Vegas performance, "An Evening With Silk Sonic", is the sexiest party of the year.

 The Park MGM's 5,200-seat theater is presently scheduled to host 13 shows, with the Live Nation presale kicking out at 1 p.m. ET today.

Tickets for the Park MGM show go on sale to the general public at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, January 21, 2022.

As part of the venue's Health Check criteria to prevent exposure to COVID-19, all attendees must wear masks and must present evidence of complete vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending the event, or a rapid on-site COVID test.

The Las Vegas residency of the duo marks the first set of gigs to support their debut studio album, "An Evening With Silk Sonic".

The duo's debut album

Upon release, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart on the list dated November 27, 2022, and at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Its lead single, "Leave the Door Open," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for eight weeks between April and July 2021.

Andrerson .Paak and Bruno Mars premiered their collaborative project on last year's Grammys.

They dropped their debut single "Leave The Door Open" a month before that, which debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

The track was also certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, widely known as RIAA.

The album 'An Evening With Silk Sonic', on the other hand, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in its first week, generating 104,000 equivalent album units.

The album units comprise 42,000 album sales, 60,000 streaming units calculated from the 82.6 million on-demand streams of the album's tracks, and 2,000 in track equivalent album units.
