The success of "30"

Adele's recent number-one album, "30", was intended to serve as a springboard for the residency in Las Vegas.

On January 12, the British pop powerhouse released a black-and-white music video for the song "Oh My God", from her album "30".

"30" was also declared the best-selling album of 2021 in the United Kingdom, where it sold more than 600,000 copies.

It also had the best first week of sales in 2021 in the United States, when it sold 839,000 equivalent album copies in its first week of release.

In 2021, it became the first album in the United States to sell more than a million copies.
