In classic Kanye West flair, he will make alterations to a project that has already been released.

"jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy," the award-winning rapper's new three-part documentary series, opened at the Sundance Film Festival last month.

With two trailers circulating in recent weeks, the project has gotten a lot of attention. The most current trailer, though, was only published a few days ago.

Now, the father of four is rumored to be contemplating a remake of the film.

He announced what he intended to happen on Instagram on Monday night, showing a text discussion regarding the docu-series. He didn't say who he was talking to, though.

In the message, Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, texted the other person, "I need Drake to do the narration."

The "Donda" hitmaker doubled down on his desire to have his ex-enemy Champagne Papi involved by writing in an Instagram caption, "DRAKE WANNA NARRATE THE DOCUMENTARY."

Later on, it was seen that Drake liked Ye's post.

Controlling Kanye West

However, the documentary series did not go as smoothly as the directors had hoped. After all, they're collaborating with Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian's former spouse had a disagreement with them about who would be in charge of the project's artistic direction.

But the rapper didn't shy away from venting his frustrations on his Instagram page, saying, "I'm going to say this kindly for the last time. I must get final edit and approval on this doc before it releases on Netflix. Open the edit room immediately so I can be in charge of my own image. Thank you in advance."

At the conclusion of the message, he even included an emoji of a happy face.

Directors Anticipated For Ye To Act Like This

Unfortunately for Kanye, the filmmakers informed Rolling Stone that they would not relinquish their creative authority - although they had anticipated that the "Jesus Is King" rapper would seek complete control of the project.

"We wouldn't have an intriguing doc if Kanye wasn't as controversial of a figure as he was," directors Coodie and Chike told the site.

"This just comes with the territory," Chike went on to explain.

They also said, "This is Kanye's personality, so you just embrace it and then it's going to take us, take us wherever it takes us."

"This is the person that we're dealing with. We all know what we're dealing with."
