Apart from losing his wife, Sam Hunt - the Grammy-nominated country singer is also likely to lose his very future, as his career falters in face of a controversy.
Sam Hunt faces a bleak future. After his pregnant wife filed for divorce, the country singer's fans turned on him, accusing him of infidelity and being unfaithful. After his wife of five years, Hannah Lee Fowler, told the court he was guilty of improper marital behaviour, the fans cannot help themselves but throw shade at him on social media and warn him of what they will be doing to his career.
Fowler is expecting a kid with Hunt. The pair hasn't made an announcement about the pregnancy, but in the divorce papers, she says she's due in May.
Fans had heard enough about Hunt's alleged infidelity scandal from Fowler, so he did not have to go into any further detail. In the comments section of his most recent Instagram image with Fowler, the Grammy-nominated singer's fans turned critics vented their rage. They went through his old posts and wreak havoc.
In April 2021, Hunt wrote a tribute to his soon-to-be ex-wife to mark their four-year anniversary of marriage. He didn't provide any hints that there was some serious difficulty in paradise when he shared two images with Fowler.

A flashback photo shows her kissing him on the cheek at the beginning of their relationship. Fowler also shared a photo of herself and her husband backstage at one of her husband's performances.
These two photos were attacked like no other. They were once showered with supportive messages. Not, the comment sections for both are full of responses branding him a loser. Some even called him trash.
Some warned him that his career will never blossom and it will start tanking from now on.
"Poor Hannah. Good for her for realizing her worth and not staying with a loser," one person wrote on Monday. "Does Hannah have an IG? Poor girl. No one deserves to be treated like this!!" added a second.
"You definitely don't deserve her. I heard the rumors and thought there was no way. I am so so so disappointed," one follower stated.
It's been stated that Fowler called her soon-to-be ex-husband "cruel" in a harsh assessment of their marriage. "The husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper," one of the lines in the divorce filing reads.
Hannah Lee Fowler and Sam Hunt married in 2017. However, it's apparent that years of togetherness and an incoming baby can no longer fix the marriage. Fowler wants custody and it remains to be seen if she'll get it.
She is seeking spousal maintenance, child support, and sole legal custody of the newborn child. A prenuptial agreement could be existing though, which could be the saving grace in this situation. Hunt's ex is also asking "the parties be awarded their respective separate property," indicating such contract exists.
