Rolling Stone magazine revealed on Tuesday just what would come with the new, 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana's "In Utero." The compilation will feature 70 tracks on three CDs, plus a DVD. The collection comes out September 24.
DISC ONE
The first disc will feature a remastered version of the original Steve Albini-produced album. Also included will be the B-Sides from the "In Utero" singles, including "Marigold" and a cover of the Beavis and Butt-head classic "I Hate Myself and Want To Die."
DISC TWO
This disc is slotted to contain the "2013 album mix," although no one's sure who mixed it. The big draw for hardcore Nirvana fans is here, in the form of a new instrumental, the aptly titled "Forgotten Tune." Plus, recordings from a jam session at Word of Mouth Productions in Seattle.
DISC THREE
This will be a live set from Pier 48 in Seattle circa 1993. The DVD that comes with the compilation will also feature this performance. In case you're wondering: "Smells Like Teen Spirit" isn't featured in the setlist.
