Is Halsey quitting Music? Her recent social media post hints that she might be stopping anytime soon, especially with a worsening battle with a chronic illness.

Unbeknown to some, Halsey has long been battling endometriosis, which she was first treated for in 2017.

Halsey Shares Health Update on Chronic Illness

In a recent Instagram story, Halsey snapped a selfie with a peace sign in her bed with a hefty health update.

"I have been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks dealing with some new challenges. Trying my best to keep things normal; Grammys, Coachella etc. But my body is putting up a strong protest and ultimately demanding that I slow down or stop for real this time, Especially so I can be in the best shape for tour." the "New Americana" singer wrote.

Weeks ago, Halsey added more stops to her "Love and Power" Tour this Summer of 2022. With her recent update, her performances in the upcoming concerts might be in limbo.

"Chronic illness is a complex mystery. If I am or have been MIA [missing in action], please don't take it personally. I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances," she said.

Although nothing has been cast in stone yet, it can be highly likely that the GRAMMY-nominated singer's upcoming commitments and performances will be canceled or postponed indefinitely because of her current health condition.

The announcement might not come as a shock for some as the 27-year-old singer did not almost make it to the last GRAMMYs because of her health.

Halsey's Battle with Endometriosis and Her Surgeries

Three days before the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards, Halsey shared with her 29.2 million Instagram followers a rather unique coincidence she had.

The singer revealed that she had undergone the same Endometriosis surgery she had last 2017, also exactly three days before she first attended Music's biggest night.

Five years later, she still walked on the red carpet with a fresh set of stitches like she had in 2017.

A year after her first GRAMMYs, Halsey delivered an empowering and emotional speech narrating her battler with the chronic illness at The Endometriosis Foundation's 2018 Blossom Ball.

Halsey shared how she had a miscarriage right before a Chicago concert at The Vic Theatre, which later on resulted in her endometriosis diagnosis.
