Liam Gallagher might be successful in his solo career over the past few years, but it seems like he's not enjoying it as he prefers to work with bandmates instead of being alone.

In a new interview with MOJO Music Magazine, the former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman said he doesn't like recording and working on tracks written for him by other people.

"It's boring as f***, to be fair, It ain't what it's meant to be," he said. (via NME)

In addition, the musician said he'd rather be in a band that bashes it out together.

"As long as it sounds good, that's all that matters," he added.

Liam Gallagher will be dropping his third solo album titled "C'Mon, You Know" on May 27.

What Happened to Liam Gallagher's Previous Bands 'Oasis' and 'Beady Eye'?

According to Forbes, the band was about to perform in Paris at the 2009 Rock en Seine Festival when he reportedly had an argument with his brother Noel.

The situation got out of hand, and he allegedly smashed the guitar backstage, leading them to cancel their headlining performance.

Noel later announced he was leaving the band for good, claiming that he couldn't work with his brother "a day longer."

"It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight," he said at the time.

After the instrument broke at the 2009 event, London Iuthier Philippe Dubreuille restored the guitar, and it was later auctioned.

Liam defended himself, denying that he smashed the guitar. He later insisted that Noel damaged one of his instruments, joking that he would sell it to fund his retirement.

After parting ways with Oasis, Liam formed Beady Eye with Gem Archer, Chris Sharrock, and Andy Bell.

They released two studio albums titled "Different Gear, Still Speeding" and "BE" before breaking up in 2014.

"Beady Eye are no longer. Thanks for all your support. LGx." the musician wrote in October 2014.

In an interview with The Guardian, Liam recalled how they parted ways, saying Gem had hurt his had, he'd gone through his divorce, and the best place to be is on the road.

However, there were no gig invites, so he thought to himself that maybe their careers wouldn't take off as a band.

Andy got an invite to play for Ride, and Liam encouraged him to take the offer, and they should "call it a day."
