Tommy Lee has been resting after he broke his rib last month. He was replaced by a drummer on tour, but now that he's recovered, it appears that fans would see him again perform live continuously.

According to Outsider, the drummer was injured weeks before Mötely Crüe was set to embark on a North American stadium tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

Today, the drummer took to Twitter to announce that he's returning to stage full time after recovering from the accident.

"I'm back kids!!! Can't even tell ya how f****** pumped I am to smash drums for the whole show. It's been really frustrating playing a few songs here n there...let's go!!!!" he wrote.

His return to stage comes a few weeks after the band performed in front of thousands of fans at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

The drummer played five songs ("Wild Side," "Shout at the Devil," "Too Fast for Love," "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)," and "Saints of Los Angeles") before he was forced to stop because of injury.

He was replaced by Black Sabbath's tour drummer Tommy Clufetos who accompanied the band for the rest of the evening.

"You know I'm stubborn and I'll beast through the pain every show for as many songs I can!" he wrote on social media at the time.

He added that fans shouldn't be worried as Clufetos got his back covered until he completely recovered.

Nikki Sixx also took to social media to commend the drummer for his efforts, writing, "The fact that Tommy was told by the doctor to not play with 4 broken ribs & he beasted half our show is a miracle."

His wife explained in a previous interview that the musician fell while on vacation in Nashville, Tennesee.

Brittany Furlan said they rented an old house around the area. The stairs outside were uneven because it's made of stones.

Lee fell from the stairs a bunch of times while getting groceries.

Despite the accident, he still went to Philadelphia to rehearse with the band. However, when he consulted a doctor, he discovered his ribs were broken.

The band is currently on tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Their next stadium show will be in Jacksonville, Florida, on July 2.
