Bruce Springsteen is back! Fans can expect the rock legend to return to the stage last year featuring his E Street Band. It is the first time they'll go back on tour after six long years.

According to People Magazine, the singer will be visiting several cities across the world for their international tour that will begin early next year.

Speaking to SiriusXM about the highly-anticipated stage comeback, Springsteen said the idea of performing again feels kind of "mind-boggling."

"It doesn't feel that long, but... I've got the jones to play live very badly at this point. So I'm deeply looking forward to getting out there in front of our fans," he added.

The singer and the E Street Band's last performance was in December 2020 on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

Their last tour together was during 2017's The River Tour which ran for 14 months.

After parting ways with the band for a brief moment, Springsteen continued his solo career by releasing two records titled "Western Stars" and "Letter To You."

He also had a concert residency in New York City called "Springsteen on Broadway."

His solo show in the big apple had more than 200 scheduled dates.

In addition to his music projects, he collaborated with former President Barack Obama for the Renegades podcast.

Springsteen said it's been a long time since he last performed with the band and he's just "aching to play" again.

"And to actually not just play, but to travel and see our fans in all our different cities and feel that life again and see their faces again," he told the host.

Rehearsals will begin in January 2023 before traveling across the United States in February starting in Tampa, Florida.

The singer and his band will move on to their European stadium shows in April, before returning to North America for a second leg in August.

The 20-time Grammy Award-winning artist said collaborating with his pals again would result in a lengthy tour and everybody's excited to see them perform again live.

Teasing about the potential lineup, Springsteen said they will have plenty of time to play new and recent music as well as their classic hits.

"It should be a balance of good things. The show should feel contemporary and it should also make you feel at home at the same time. So that's our goal," he added.
