Kanye West is facing massive legal heat over new allegations of not paying certain services provided for him in the past year.

A new lawsuit emerged earlier this week amounting to $7 million, accusing the rapper of not paying the fees for the "DONDA 2" release show and then-canceled Coachella performance.

Apart from the multimillion-dollar lawsuit, he is also facing heat for unpaid fashion rental fees from Casavant Archive.

The fines are small compared to West's declared net worth - that is why his recent financial behavior has been worrisome, to say the least.

Kanye West, Phantom Labs Lawsuit

Very recently, Kanye West has been served with a hot new lawsuit accusing him of unpaid fees amounting to $7.1 million. (via Billboard)

Phantom Labs, the production company responsible for the theatrical release show of his controversial album, "DONDA 2," was also the team behind his supposed Coachella 2022 performance, which he, later on, pulled the plug on.

The company complains that the rap mogul failed to compensate them for their fees after "faithfully" performing Ye's requested work, which even includes advance payments for several other independent vendors.

"Event after event, Ye and his representatives promised that if Phantom continued work on the budgeted and approved projects, Phantom would be paid promptly for the balance and the new work," the filing indicates.

Howard King, a top-tier entertainment lawyer representing Phantom labs, clarified that recent events have made it clear that Ye's team has "no intention" of paying the production company - thus, their last resort was the whopping lawsuit.

Aside from the "DONDA 2" Release show and canceled Coachella performance, Phantom Labs were also responsible for the "Free Larry Hoover" Concert and four weeks of Ye's "Sunday Service."

Kanye West, Casavant Archive Lawsuit

In over two weeks, Kanye West received two lawsuits concerning his spending behavior - well, the lack thereof.

The Casavant Archive, a high-end fashion rental service that holds a "private collection of the world's rarest and most coveted garments," alleged that the "DONDA" rapper "simply stopped" paying their rental fees.

The amount is meager compared to Phantom Labs, as he only owes the company almost $220,000 and an additional $195,000 if the garments are fully lost - a total of $415,000 in fine.

Kanye West Net Worth 2022

Kanye West's current Net Worth is around $6.6 billion; he is the second richest rapper to date, trailing behind Jay-Z.

But despite the massive fortune the rapper has on his belt, the piling lawsuits could cost his many businesses to take a dive.

The two lawsuits were among the mountain of legal trouble the rapper is facing - divorce proceedings with Kim Kardashian, copyright issues, and unlicensed sampling.
