Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are still on cloud nine following their Las Vegas wedding. Fans knew that they were headed that way, for the second time around, but were still shocked it happend literally just like that. Was it rushed by any means?
Sources said Lopez was the one who wanted it asap, because she's worried Affleck might still change his mind.
Page Six reports that the couple celebrated with pizza and Diet Coke on a private plane returning to Los Angeles early on Sunday morning.
And while J.Lo stated in her OnTheJo email on Sunday that their children were there at the drive-through wedding chapel ceremony, Page Six reports that just Emme, 14, and Sera, 13, were present.
They have a combined total of five children. Max is Emme's identical twin brother, and Affleck shares Violet, 16, and Sam, 10, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
In another report, it is said that the two are planning another wedding, this time a bit more formal and grander, for the benefit of their big circles and fans.
While they were tying the wedding, Garner spent the weekend basking in the sun at Lake Tahoe and gave no indication of how she felt about the situation.
"Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I'm told that it was only Friday at the earliest. It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur of the moment. Violet stayed home because she's extremely loyal to her mom," one well-placed Hollywood source shared to The Post.
With regard to why it had to happen so fast, the Hollywood source added: "[Lopez] has been ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed. She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet ASAP!"
From 2005 through 2018, Garner, 50, and Affleck, 49, were married. She has remained silent as her ex has been involved in high-profile relationships with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus and Cuban actress Ana de Armas, who recently stated she left Los Angeles due to the spotlight surrounding their relationship. She told Elle magazine that being with Affleck became some sort of a hell-hole, as It became a touch excessive and yet there's literally no escape.
She now resides in New York City with her Tinder executive boyfriend, Paul Boukakakos.
For a while, everyone thought Affleck and Garner are the #goals. She supported the Oscar winner during his addiction struggles and they had a pretty rock solid marriage until they suddenly announced they were breaking up.
In December however, Affleck told shock jock Howard Stern that he would likely still be drinking if he were still married to Garner. Naturally her friends and fans were enraged.
They said it's disgusting how he changed the story around. As of now, an insider said that Garner does not harbor ill-feelings for the actor for his comments, and for his marriage to Lopez. She just wants him to be happy.
