Future Earned New Platinum RIAA Certifications
According to HipHopDX, Future, formally known as Nayvadius Dumun Wilburn, recently earned a total of 55 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America.
More widely known as RIAA, the certification-giving body operates by giving artists certifications for their song and album sales.
In the United States, it is the Recording Industry Association of America that gives out gold and platinum certifications to artists who have generated a certain number of sales for their work.
Gold certifications are given to those tracks and albums which has sold over 500,000 units.
Platinum is awarded to those who hit the 1,000,000 mark, while an additional platinum level is given to those who surpass another million hereafter.
Meanwhile, the highest standard - Diamond, is given to an artist whose track/album has sold over 10,000,000 units.
Very recently, the Recording Industry Association of America has awarded Future a Platinum certification on his 2017 album "HNDRXX" and 2018 "Wrld On Drgs" collaboration with the late rapper Juice WRLD.
This gives the "Jumpman" hitmaker a total of eight albums that have already reached Platinum, besting Drake, who only has seven.
The gap between Future and Drake could be further widened if the former's most recent album, "I NEVER LIKED YOU," would reach Platinum status.
Chart data reports that it is nearing that classification as it has almost 893,000 album equivalent units.

With the new accomplishment, Future's avid fans are becoming curious as to how much the rapper's current assets are, considering the massive fortune his discography brings.
According to CA Knowledge, Future's Net Worth is estimated to be $62 Million this 2022. This is because he currently owns 12 real estates, including a lavish mansion in Los Angeles.
The rapper also has five cars, a luxury yacht, and cash reserves of over $8 million.
As for Drizzy, he still gets the higher spot. Drake's 2022 Net Worth is $250 millio,n and is consistently one of the highest-paid entertainers in the world.
Despite the two going head to head with each other on fortune and platinum certifications, their friendship remains grounded as the two currently share a success on "Wait For U," which sits at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with Nigerian-born singer, Tems.
