Nicki Minaj is finally dropping his much-awaited 6-part documentary series soon, but Barbz seemed to be confused about where it would be streaming.

The documentary series was teased way back in 2020 but never materialized for unknown reasons. Now, Minaj revived it again, but fans spotted a major factor that had been missing in the announcement.

On her announcement, Nicki Minaj only alluded that she would be releasing the documentary series "sooner" than everyone thinks, but no mentions of the official streaming service occurred.

Nicki Minaj Documentary Series Coming' Sooner Than You Think'

Surprising everyone with a sudden announcement, the Queen of Rap dropped the trailer for 6-part Documentary Series titled "Nicki."

A post shared by instagram

In the trailer posted on both of her social media handles, Nicki Minaj started the trailer with a montage of her origins as a rapper - rapping on the streets of New York to posing with her loyal fans at her sold-out concerts.

"You don't have a manual to be a famous rapper, you just learn it as you go," Nicki said in the trailer.

In a press release that Pitchfork released in 2020, the documentary will explore Nicki's "brilliantly creative mind and tell the story of her personal and professional journey."

Prominently featured in the newly-released trailer is Taylor Swift's famous tweet in 2011, which seemed to spark the friendship between the two pop music dominators.

"Driving back from rehearsals listening to Super Bass by @nickiminaj OVER AND OVER. I'm so obsessed with this song," Taylor Swift tweeted at the time.

The upcoming six-part documentary was made by Bron Studios, the people behind "House of Gucci," "The Birth of a Nation," and "Joker."

Nicki Minaj gave the award-winning studio a shout-out on her new Instagram announcement. However, fans spotted that there was something missing in her new announcement compared to the last one.

Where Will Nicki Minaj Documentary Air?

In Nicki's 2020 announcement, she made it clear that the documentary series will be produced by Bron Studios and be aired exclusively on HBO Max.

But on her new post, Nicki Minaj made no mention of the hit streaming service, even on the trailer.

The miss-up confuses many Barbz on Twitter, asking the "Good Form" hitmaker directly where they would be seeing it so they could purchase a subscription as early as now.

As of this writing, Nicki has not responded to any of the questions yet.

Expectedly, more details shall become available as soon as the release date is announced.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is releasing her comeback single "Freaky Girl" on Aug. 12, 2022.
