Beyonce's seventh solo studio album, "Rennaisance" has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, kicking Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" off the summit for its consecutive week reign atop.

Luminate reports that "Rennaisance" opened at 332,000 album equivalent units on its opening week - making it the second largest debut of an album this 2022, and the biggest one made by a female artist.

Out of the sold units, 190,000 are album sales, streaming equivalent albums comprised the other 138,000, while the remaining 4,000 are track equivalent albums.

But despite the huge debut for Beyonce, the album has failed to surpass Harry Style's "Harry's House" in its opening week as expected. Bey was 180,000 equivalent album units short to tie with Styles' third album.

Apart from not surpassing Styles, "Rennaisance" was not also able to top her previous album, "Lemonade" on its opening week sales, and Adele's "30" which was the last one had a massive opening at 839,000 last November 2021.

But despite that, Beyonce has continued her career streak of debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 charts since her debut album.
