Kim Petras' upcoming album might have been leaked and scrapped, but the pop star promises a new era that fans would surely love.

In an interview during this year's Outside Lands Music and Arts festival in San Francisco, California, the singer told her fans to listen to her "leaked and scrapped" album and it's okay with her.

"It just leaked, it's totally okay, listen to it [because] the songs are never coming out. I want you guys to listen to it and give me your opinion, so go listen to that s***," she said.

She later confirmed that she has music that will "actually gonna come out too."

The pop star apologized to her fans, saying "I'm sorry I'm leaking all my music right now, it's exciting, things [are] coming and please stay with me."

During her set at the famed music festival, where she performed a cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)," the singer also noted that new singles are going to come out soon.

Kim Petras Wants To 'Quit' Making Music?

The latest update comes a few days after Petras took to her official Twitter account to post, then delete, a series of tweets where she revealed that she wanted to quit music.

Many fans alleged that her leaked album is titled "Problématique" which includes the songs "Je T'adore" and "All She Wants," a collaboration track with Paris Hilton.

"I'm not getting to put out any music anyways I'm f*****," she added.

In addition, her record label, Amigo Records, is said to be scrapping her upcoming album so it's okay for fans to listen to the leaked copies of the record.

The "Coconuts" hitmaker's label is an imprint of Republic Records. The music label is owned by controversial music producer Dr. Luke who faced a lengthy case from Kesha.

Kim Petras Initially Excited to Release Her Upcoming Album

The singer seemingly confirmed that a new record will be coming out after she released "Future Starts Now" last year.

She later dropped two more singles titled "Hit It from the Back" and "Coconuts."

In an interview at the 2021 MTV EMAs red carpet, the 29-year-old pop sensation told People Magazine that she was excited to release a new album as it is her first official record under a record label because she's been working as an independent artist over the past years.
