It's Lizzo's special day! The singer is set to get married in her upcoming music video but it appears that things didn't go according to plan as she left the ceremony to do something else.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "About Damn Time" hitmaker shared a short teaser for the highly-anticipated music video of her song "2 B Loved."

In the short clip, the 34-year-old singer can be seen wearing a thigh-high split wedding dress accessorized with a floral lace headdress.

Following this, Lizzo left her own wedding to drive a vintage red car in the desert.

While she was living her best life away from the ceremony, a mysterious man on a motorcycle appeared and she gasped upon seeing the gentleman.

The video ends with the text "COMING SOON."

Lizzo's official YouTube channel had already set a premiere time for the official music video, which will be on August 15 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

The singer had already worn a bridal dress in the past for the music video of her song "Truth Hurts" in 2019. She also had a wedding-themed performance at the 2019 BET Awards.

Other Lizzo Updates

The recent teaser comes a week after Lizzo appeared on First We Feast's "Hot Ones" where she answered questions while eating vegan chicken wings along with hot sauces.

In the interview, Lizzo revealed that her smash hit "About Damn Time" almost never became the lead single of her album "Special."

Explaining her decision, the singer said she wasn't feeling the song when it was in its early process of creation.

However, she later realized that the message of the song is what the world needed to hear at the time.

"The 'I've been so down and under pressure, I'm way too fine to be this stressed' - it's like, hello! We needed that right then when I dropped that m***********," she explained.

The song became successful as it became her second number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. On the other hand, her album "Special" debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.
