R&B Singer Trey Songz was accused of multiple sexual assault lawsuits currently. While a multimillion anonymous complaint was already dropped, his other cases seemed to have hit a major development.

A witness to one of Trey Songz's sexual assault lawsuits has revealed that she was bribed by the opposing attorney to make up statements to inflict larger accusations on the singer.

Turns out, the lawyer was the same person who withdrew legal counsel to a woman who has accused Chris Brown of rape and assault earlier this year.

Trey Songz's Accuser Lawyer Bribed Witness To Make Up Statements

TMZ learned recently that a woman has testified that Trey Songz's accuser's lawyer bribed her with $200,000 to change her story, in an effort to strengthen the case against the R&B singer.

In the transcript that the outlet has exclusively obtained, the lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, offered her $100k-$200k if she would say that she has witnessed Trey Songz sexually assaulting Jauhara Jeffries, the accuser.

Allegedly, Mitchell said that wanted to paint Trey Songz as "the next R. Kelly" in the high-profile lawsuit.

Mariah Thielen, the woman who testified, described Mitchell to have smelled like weed during the meeting in April 2021 at a Miami bar, while armed with a fire gun.

The witness also pointed out that Mitchell explained that the testimony would be pushed forward to the singer's team to secure a monetary settlement. With her new allegations, she could make the money bigger. (via Hot New HipHop)

But despite a large amount of money presented to her, Thielen declined the offer. She also pointed out that not even for $10 million, she would not lie to the court.

Shortly after the shady meeting took place, Thielen reported it to Trey Songz's legal team.

Meanwhile, Ariel Mitchell, the lawyer in question responded to the allegations thrown at her.

"We're highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judges' further instructions on how to proceed given the witness's inconsistent testimony during the hearing," she said in a statement.

Mitchell was not new to defending accusers of sexual assault on R&B superstars. Earlier this year, she was representing a client who filed a $20 million rape lawsuit against Trey Songz's frequent collaborator, Chris Brown.

However, she withdrew from the case after finding out that her client was casually hooking up with Brown earlier.
