Britney Spears publicly stated that she refused Oprah Winfrey's offer of millions of dollars for a sit-down and tell-all interview.

According to the "Baby One More Time" singer, the media mogul wanted first dibs on what happened during her 13-year conservatorship.

However, it appears that there is no truth to it, as an individual close to Oprah told Radar Onlinethat the reports were false.

"They absolutely did not pay Britney for an interview. Oprah never pays."

But what about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shocking interview in March 2021?

"She didn't pay Meghan and Harry and wouldn't pay Britney," said the insider.

Britney Spears recently published a now-deleted 22-minute clip of herself, telling her followers that she had a lot going on in her thoughts and needed to let it out.

The "Toxic" singer also stated that she had other offers, including interviews with Oprah, but she did not like the concept of getting paid to talk about her agony.

The mother of two stated that it was critical for her to talk about what was on her mind and to be transparent about her feelings.

Britney also described how, after being dominated by everyone around her, she ultimately put her foot down.

Not Just Britney Spears' Autobiography

An informant informed Hollywood Life that Britney Spears was just getting ready to share her story after exposing her family for years of abuse.

Britney revealed her conservatorship and the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father throughout the recording.

The former Disney Channel actress also claimed that she fled with a man in order to avoid her family.

Despite what appears to be her bombshell assertion in the voice memo, followers may believe she has already spilled all the beans.

Britney only performed the recording because she wanted her family to hear it, according to the insider.

But she has a lot more to say, which is apparently only a fraction of what she will say in her forthcoming memoir.

"Telling her story is the only way she will heal from this, and she wants nothing more than to put this behind her and go on with her life and career," they stated.

Though the "Lucky" singer is aware that she will never be able to reclaim the time that has been snatched from her, she is also aware that she still has her entire life ahead of her.

Early this year, months after her conservatorship ended, the singer-dancer earned a $15 million book contract.

There is no specific publishing date for Britney Spears' book, but it was originally scheduled for early 2023, according to TMZ.
