Mel C is one of the most iconic members of Spice Girls as she had taken over television as a judge on several talent competitions recently.

With her new autobiography coming in the next few weeks, the former Spice Girl shared one of the scariest moments in her life that came after the worldwide success of the girl group.

Supposedly, Spice Girl is set to reunite this year - but commitmment issues from the other girls has afffected the hopes of avid fans in seeing all the five girls together again on stage.

In her new autobiography set for release in September 15, Melanie Chisholm, famously known as Mel C revealed some shocking experiences she had after her career took of as Sporty Spice.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in depth about her traumas in the past, Mel confessed that she had been diagnosed as clinically depressed at the time.

"I was quite unwell for a few years. When I look back, I don't know physically how I did it; when you consider how little I lived on and how much exercise I was doing alongside a brutal schedule," Mel detailed.

Apparently, their former manager has made unflattering comments about her weight which prompted her to be insecure and started developing an eating disorder.

When the girl group was disbanded when Ginger Spice abruptly left, that's when Mel's life began crashing down, PEOPLE Magazine reported.

She had suicidal thoughts and was consecutively diagnosed with an eating disorder, anorexia, among many other worrying health conditions.

"We are f---ing warriors, you know? Sometimes when I think of what I have done and what I now deal with every day; with work, with being a mum, with family stuff. And I'm like, f---, I'm still standing," Mel affirmed herself after standing tall despite that moment in her life.

As rumors of the group reuniting compeletly finally materializing, it was later turned down again as commitmment issues from Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) and Geri Hallwell (Ginger Spice) had other commitmments.

However, in 2019 the group performed in concerts that has generated more than 80 million pounds despite Beckham not present.

As of this writing news and development about the band reuniting fully again remains unconfirmed.
