This is not a drill! Rihanna has finally confirmed that she'll be coming back to the music industry to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show next year after the famed segment changes its usual sponsor. Since sharing the big news with the world, many fans have been sharing songs that they wanted to hear from the artist.

According to Variety, the 34-year-old beauty mogul, who recently gave birth to her first child earlier this year, took to her official Instagram account to confirm her association with the National Football League after reports about her being next year's headliner made rounds online.

Rihanna shared a photo, which received more than three million likes as of this writing, of her tattooed-clad hand while holding a football with the NFL logo.

The association's head of music, Seth Dudowsky, issued a statement regarding the upcoming music event, saying they are thrilled to welcome the "Kiss It Better" hitmaker to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime stage.

"We look forward to collaborating with Rihanna, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another historic Halftime Show performance," he added. (via Variety)

Regarding the production behind the highly-anticipated show, DPS serves as producer while Roc Nation, Rihanna's entertainment agency, and Jesse Collins serve as executive producers.

Hamish Hamilton will reportedly direct the event while Roc Nation will be the strategic entertainment advisor.

Fans Share The Songs They Want Rihanna to Perform + Special Music Guests

Although Rihanna has not released any solo music material since 2016, many fans still look forward to seeing her perform as she has a strong music catalog.

Her last album "Anti" was released six years ago, but she has many iconic songs in the past that fans wanted to hear live.

 

Based on a thread posted by Pop Crave, the 2012 Mikky Ekko-featuring song "Stay" appears to be a crowd favorite.

Many users also want her to perform "Where Have You Been," "S&M," "Pon de Replay," "FourFiveSeconds," "Diamonds," "Love on the Brain," "Disturbia," and many more.

Regarding special guests, some fans want Britney Spears to make a surprise appearance as they previously performed a remix version of "S&M" at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011.

In addition, fans are also hoping for Nicki Minaj, Shakira, Drake, and more, to perform along with Rihanna.
