Ringo Starr, formerly The Beatles drummer, canceled a scheduled tour after feeling "sick."

Starr and his band were about to perform at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota, but he decided to postpone the show after an issue affected his voice.

His spokesperson confirmed to a news outlet that his current condition is non-COVID-19-related. It did not share more details about the health issue or reveal what exactly his illness is.

The news outlet added that the show could be rescheduled, but fans have a choice to ask for a refund instead. Meanwhile, those who were already present in the venue received the news but did not get a proper explanation, as well.

One concertgoer reportedly went to the Mystic Lake management to directly ask about the cancelation, but the group did not go into details and only revealed Starr was sick.

Starr was also supposed to perform at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota, but the venue shared a tweet confirming the postponement of his tour.

"The Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band concert scheduled for 8 pm Sun. 10/2/22 in the Mystic Showroom has been postponed. Ringo is sick and was not able to perform, thus the release of late notice, and his voice has been affected. Ringo does not have COVID-19," the post reads, which also has a solo picture of the musician.

Both dates included Starr's All Starr Band - drummer Gregg Bissonette, Edgar Winter, Toto's Steve Lukather, the Average White Band's Hamish Stewart, Men at Work's Colin Hay, and Kansas's Warren Ham.

Ringo Starr Does Not Want To Die of COVID-19

In an interview with Esquire, Starr opened up the fear factor he had after the pandemic started. Per the drummer, he does not dwell on that fear, but the fact that the world saw many deaths because of COVID-19 made him think about the possibility of experiencing it himself.

Starr reportedly had tuberculosis when he was younger, recalling how he almost spent a year in a medical facility. He spent another six months after falling out of his hospital bed that reopened his surgical wound after undergoing an operation on his appendix.

With that, his fans know where his health fears are coming from.
