SZA is finally giving fans a taste of what will come from her upcoming, highly-anticipated album with the release of her next single, "Shirt."

The 32-year-old singer previewed a teaser clip from the music video that will include LaKieth Stanfield. The teaser was uploaded on Instagram and showed SZA and Stanfield sitting opposite each other in a shady diner, with another guy sitting with them.

The teaser follows the two as they discuss the laws of physics, albeit a little flirtatiously, then the unknown man pipped up, causing Stanfield to smack him at the back of his head, telling him to shut up. SZA then pulls out a gun from behind and shoots him point blank.

SZA, born Solána Imani Rowe, not only enlisted the help of Stanfield in the music video, but she also teamed up with David Meyers to direct the music video.

The official release of the single comes after weeks of delays. "Shirt" was originally expected to be released on Oct. 14, reports added.

SZA addressed the delays while she was on stage at Austin City Limits, "that was true. But, it didn't come out because I looked at the video, and I was stressed at one small thing in the video."

"But I fixed that, and it's turned in and about to come out. That's the truth," she added.

"Shirt" is expected to be off her sophomore album, which has still no release date as of this writing. The album is a complete mystery to fans, as SZA has kept most of the information about the album to herself.

However, in her interview with Complex, she revealed that she did not follow a structured, detailed process when it comes to the album.

"I don't even know what this album is about and what it sounds like," she admitted. "Which is why I had to go to the mode of what feels good to my brain and to my energy and the songs that I think are hot, I just have to go with them."

Additionally, she shocked fans by sharing that she has over a hundred songs lined up in her vault. This is perhaps why it is no surprise that her album is "a little bit of everything," as she put it.

"It's a little aggressive Some parts are incredibly soft. Some of them are ballads. I don't know. It's all over the place. It's just where my heart is."
