Takeoff's official cause of death has been determined a day after he was shot and killed.

Local news outlet Click2Houston first confirmed that the man who was found dead by the Houston police on Tuesday was Takeoff. It disclosed that the rapper became a victim of gun violence after a shooting incident occurred in downtown Houston.

His body was taken by the office seven hours after the tragedy and was loaded into a medical examiner's van.

Following the examination, the Harris County coroner's office confirmed to Billboard the exact gunshot wounds he sustained.

The Migos' member died of "penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm."

The report did not disclose how many gunshot wounds he exactly sustained. But Takeoff's death has been ruled a homicide, per the documents Us Weekly obtained on Wednesday.

Takeoff became one of the rappers who were senselessly killed in the past years, including Drakeo The Ruler, Pop Smoke, Nipsey Hussle, Tupac, PNB Rock, Young Dolph, Doe B, Smoke Dawg, Houdini, and MO3, to name a few.

Although days have already passed, his fans still endure the pain after losing the rapper due to a senseless reason.
