50 Cent shared his two cents on how to honor artists after their death-drop their unreleased music.

The 47-year-old rapper posted on Instagram on Nov. 2, just a day after the death of Migos member Takeoff, suggesting that Quavo has to take careful, measured steps in curating pop smoke's album.

He added a clip of Steven Victor, founder, and CEO of Victor Victor Worldwide and SVP of A&R at Universal Music, talking about Takeoff's debut album.

"This is really how it goes, [Quavo], you have to position this Album correctly for Take Off's Legacy," the Hip-Hop mogul wrote.

"Go make a couple [of] changes and address everything. All [artists] make the best music out of painful moments."

He also paid tribute to the late rapper as well as another rapper who was gunned down over two years ago, Pop Smoke.

Posthumous

Apparently, 50 Cent had a hand in the release of Takeoff's album, "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon."

The rapper was credited as executive producer for the album; they worked on it long before Takeoff's tragic death.

"I gotta say that I don't think ... if I never had this conversation 50, I don't know if this album would've came out," Victor said in an interview with Boardroom.

He also revealed that 50 Cent gave him a reality check, "[...] I couldn't listen to [Pop Smoke's] music, and 50 was like, 'Yo. You're being selfish. You can't let your emotions or you being in this depressed state stop you from executing the plans you guys had.'"

Legacy

Prior to Takeoff's death, he and Quavo worked on several projects together under the monicker Unc & Phew.

They recently released an album entitled "Only Built For Infinity Links" the previous month, and it saw commercial success.

While there is no official word on whether or not the deceased rapper has any unreleased songs in the vault, perhaps 50 Cent thought it did not hurt to point out the possibility of releasing an album in Takeoff's honor.

Fans pointed out that the rapper's death was too recent, and they had a very close bond, given that they were uncle and nephew.

Making an album might be the last thing on Quavo's mind right now, and fans think so too.
