Fans and several artists across the hip-hop music scene are still mourning after Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, passed away after being shot dead in Houston, Texas, after an altercation with a group of men.

According to an article published by Hollywood Life in 2017, the 1/3 member of Migos and the pop star have reportedly dated at the time.

It all began when the pair reportedly attended the Saturday Night Live afterparty after the "Teenage Dream" hitmaker graced the stage of the famed NBC show for its season finale.

Prior to being linked five years ago, the rapper, along with his former rap groupmates Quavo and Offset, collaborated with her for the song "Bon Apetit" under her album "Witness."

In addition, the "Firework" songstress also unfollowed the three rappers and "ceased all communication" just after performing on "Saturday Night Live."

The issue didn't last long as neither of the two parties addressed the matter.
