Many fans were thrilled after the final knockouts of "The Voice" season 22 aired on Monday, and most of them couldn't wait to watch the Live Playoffs which were originally scheduled for the next day. However, it had been postponed and NBC allotted a new time slot for the reality competition series.

According to Sportskeeda, it appears that fans would have to wait another week to witness the Top 16 go head to head against each other in live performances in front of judges Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and the latest inductee to the panel, Camila Cabello.

The reason why episode 16 was canceled is because of NBC's coverage of the mid-term elections titled "News Special: Decision 2022."

The network will give special coverage of the elections until 11 p.m. Eastern Time.

"The Voice" live shows will now air on November 14 at 8 p.m., fans who couldn't watch the show on television can access the episode on Peacock the following day.

Who Will Be Performing in the Live Shows?

According to Newsweek, all of the coaches have trimmed down their members into four, and all 16 contestants would sing live next week.

Check out the list of the top 16 below:

Team Gwen - Justin Aaron, Alyssa Witrado, Kevin Hawkins, Kique Gomez

Team Blake - Bryce Leatherwood, Bodie, Braden Lape, Rowan Grace

Team Legend - Kim Cruse, Omar Cardona, Parijita Bastola, Sasha Hurtado

Team Camila - Devix, Morgan Myles, Eric Who, Kate Kalvach

Hosted by Carson Daly, many were shocked with the 22nd season after announcing that contestants would have to battle each other in three-way knockout rounds, which is a first in the show's 11-year run.

Previous seasons only featured two contestants in each battle and a coach had to decide who to keep in the competition.

Fans at home have the right to save their favorite contestants from being eliminated in the weekly live shows by voting for them.
