Following Aaron Carter's death, wild conspiracy theories emerged and suggested how the singer actually died. For what it's worth, Nick Carter's brother was first found in his bathtub by his housekeeper before the authorities responded to the scene and declared him dead.

Although the Los Angeles Police Department and the investigators already said no foul play was involved, talks about Aaron Carter's cause of death began.

His bereaved family, on the other hand, debunked one of the theories and said there is no way the singer intentionally killed himself.

Sources close to Carter's family told a news outlet that the "I'm All About You" singer's death was unexpected as he planned a lot of things about his personal and professional life.

Among the theories surrounding his death include his cause of death reportedly a suicide. Other buzz suggested that the singer knew he would not make it alive until the holidays and that he had been planning to take his own life for a long time.

Far from what the latter claimed, his family revealed he could not wait until the holidays since he wanted to spend time with his fiancée and their son. He also connected with his family counselor and social worker to make himself a better parent.

Aaron Carter Looked Forward To Having a Fruitful Career

Although he had been under the spotlight for a long time decades after his debut, Carter still poured all his efforts into expanding his career. In fact, he was preparing to release a new album next month.

The project in question, titled "Blacklisted," was released on Sunday following his death. Originally, Rakkaus Records scheduled to drop the studio album on Dec. 7.

Unfortunately, the singer's death made it share the music earlier than expected.

The album contains 10 songs, serving as the follow-up project to the singer's 2018 album, "Love."

Although details about his cause of death remain undetermined, his pal recently dropped bombshell information regarding his alleged obsession with his brother, Nick.

In a statement to Page Six, Carter's longtime friend Gary Madatyan revealed that the singer talked about reconciling with the Backstreet Boys member before his untimely death. He noted that he had an unhealthy obsession with Nick that he had been wanting his love for years.

"Mentally ill people think differently. He was ... pushing, poking to get that attention. Aaron did things he should have never done to his brother, but we're talking about mental health. He was crying out for help," he said.
