Gucci Mane is popularly known for dissing other musicians in his songs, but it appears that he headed to a different direction this time as he made a big move for Takeoff weeks after he passed away.

In early reports, the 28-year-old musician, whose real name is Kirsnik Khari Ball, was shot dead in the early hours of November 1 at a bowling alley called Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas.

An altercation reportedly broke out between the rapper and a group of men that evening, resulting in the other party opening fire. Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just a few days after his star-studded funeral, Gucci Mane released an emotional song titled "Letter to Takeoff." In the music video, the musician sported an all-black outfit as he raps his tribute in a cemetery.

The lyrics contain his experience with other musicians in the hip-hop industry who passed away, saying he left another funeral while shedding a tear and he couldn't believe what happened.

"how the f*** we gon' lose Takeoff, damn he didn't deserve it / We don't supposed to question God, but damn, Takeoff was perfect," he sang.

He also paid tribute to several late hip-hop stars like Shawty Lo, Slim Dunkin, XXXTentacion, PnB Rock, and more.

Offset Shares Emotional Tribute For Takeoff

Migos might have not been on good terms over the past few months, but Takeoff's death seemingly brought the rap group back together as they set aside their differences to mourn their good pal's passing. More recently, Offset made a big move for his friend online.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the rapper shared an emotional statement about the late hip-hop star, saying the pain he left him is "unbearable."

"My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words," he wrote.

Cardi B's husband added that he's been going to sleep and waking up, hoping that the incident was just a dream. However, he couldn't do anything because reality feels like a nightmare.

Since the two shared a tight bond with one another before the issue within Migos broke out, Offset said Takeoff gave him hugs whenever they meet, and he wished he could hug his buddy for the last time.

"I know someone with a sould like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you," he added.

The rapper concluded his post by telling his pal he loves him.
