In the aftermath of Aaron Carter's untimely death on November 5, 2022, his manager has recently revealed something about the former pop star.

The "I'm All About You" singer was discovered lifeless inside his bathtub at his Lancaster, California home, surroundedby compressed air cans and pill bottles, according to police reports.

Taylor Helgeson previously stated that he does not believe the 34-year-old former child star considered suicide, but that his mental health suffered as a result of internet bullies.

In an interview with Page Six, he described Aaron's situation as a "nightmare."

"It was nonstop. It was so relentless and, yeah, it did a number on him."

Though the Big Hit Umbrella Management executive does not entirely blame cyberbullying for Aaron Carter's death, he admits to seeing the "I Want Candy" singer "break him down over a long period of time."

And, despite the fact that Aaron appeared to have planned to get his life together weeks before his death, Taylor explained that the singer "never chose his life."

"I don't believe he was given the same tools as many of us to navigate life in a way that allows us to live sustainable, good lives."

The hate occasionally spilled over the internet and brought back memories of Aaron being heckled during a live show.

Though it affected Aaron when it happened, the manager said he didn't let it show in his performance. After his concert, however, he went offstage and seemed really sad.

"He wasn't angry. He was sad."

It was also the same night Aaron went on Twitter to promote his performance and saw the negative comments about him, which shattered the "Summertime" singer, who said that despite the hostility, "he couldn't seem to keep himself off" social media.

Taylor claimed that he also offered Aaron to manage his social media accounts for him, but Aaron declined because he wanted to reply to his haters.

"He felt like he had something to prove a lot of the time. He might simply stand amid this shambles."

Taylor appreciates everyone who has sent love to Aaron Carter since his death, but there are still people who are sending hate.

Given Aaron's public fallout with older brother Nick Carter, there has always been speculation about who was actually part of his inner circle. Taylor revealed Aaron had planned to speak with him before his death, even though they didn't get the chance.
