Rita Ora made news in 2020 as it was revealed she celebrated her 30th birthday in a London restaurant that November.
It was during the period when a person could only meet up with one other person outside.
The British singer's party, according to investigators, was an "egregious and infamous" violation of COVID prohibitions at the time.
However, a year later, in an interview with The Independent, the "Your Song" singer admitted that she was still humiliated and found it difficult to talk about the event.
"I just wish I had made a different choice. It makes me sad because it's something I wish had never happened."
Rita also stated that her party was a "inexcusable" lapse in judgment, and that her choice to host one at all was a "spur of the moment decision with the incorrect assumption" that it would be fine despite the lockdown.

Rita Ora has been in a relationship with filmmaker Taika Waititi since 2021, however they just married in August 2022.
Fans of the singer and the film director, however, were taken aback when they saw the two kissing as well as actress Tessa Thompson on the balcony of his Sydney house in May 2021.
After partying all night during a break from filming the next Marvel sequel "Thor," which was released this year, the trio made news across the world for their three-way kiss and locking lips.
Taika, 45, told ET Canada that he was scolded by Marvel officials for his actions and that what they were doing "wasn't a big thing."
When asked if he was upset by the media attention their pictures got, he said, "not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It's fine."
